About me
I'm Stephanie Steele, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Mediator, and doctoral candidate in Sport & Performance Psychology based in Colorado.
My work centers on helping people navigate challenges, strengthen communication, build confidence, and find practical ways forward. I work with individuals, couples, families, athletes, teams, and organizations across mental health, performance, and conflict resolution.
I believe support should be both compassionate and useful. Whether we're addressing anxiety, navigating a difficult transition, working through conflict, or strengthening performance, my approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and centered on your goals.
Education & Professional Background
I earned my bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and a Certificate in Conflict Management from Regis University, followed by a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University.
I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Sport & Performance Psychology, expanding my work in areas such as mental performance, resilience, motivation, identity, and the psychological experiences of athletes.
My professional background brings together three areas that often overlap in real life:
Mental Health • Sport & Performance • Mediation & Conflict Resolution
This allows me to work with people not only as individuals, but also within the relationships, teams, workplaces, and environments that influence their experiences.
My Approach
I believe meaningful change comes from understanding what's happening while also identifying what we can do next.
My style is collaborative, practical, and goal-oriented. I want the work we do together to translate beyond our conversations into tools, strategies, and solutions you can actually use in your everyday life, relationships, workplace, or performance environment.
Above all, I strive to create a space where people feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
